The launch of LCR Future Energy’s Associate Programme took place last Friday, giving a small number of selected consultants the chance to network with other like-minded professionals. Hosted in Bar & Grill Liverpool, six consultants joined the LCRFE team to share ideas and opinions on current activities in the Low Carbon & Renewable Energy sector.
LCRFE Project Manager, Pedro Rivera, explained the initiative to the consultants. “LCRFE offers a grant support scheme, which allows us to reimburse your clients up to 30% of your fees. We therefore believe the grant funding would benefit both you and your clients by reducing your bill and adding value to your offer.”
The session proved a success with some great associations being formed between the guests. Chris Russell, from operational excellence consultancy Virrata, commented on the event: “It was great to meet with local businesses, from a variety of backgrounds, which are really well placed to support companies in the renewable energy sector.”
Another attendee, Martin Concannon from Frazer Nash Consultancy, commented on how the programme will benefit SMEs in LCR, “Really interesting to hear about this initiative and I am looking forward to engaging further to offer support to SMEs in the region. Made some good contacts on the day and will definitely be following up on them.”
The next associate networking session is scheduled for early November, with a date to be confirmed.
