Inventya Solutions Ltd has expertise in the areas of internationalisation, business support, project management and delivery and bidding for major contracts from both the public and private sectors. Inventya Solutions Ltd is a subsidiary of Inventya Ltd.

Our team has a wealth of experience across a broad range of areas including; project design and management, business strategy and planning and sales and marketing. In addition, we can draw on a large team of approved experts, who are able to meet our high standards of delivery and support across the key areas required by SME’s to be successful. In 2016, we successfully developed and secured the LCR Future Energy project. This £3.7 m project is designed to help SMEs to grow by either entering the renewable energy supply chain or growing within the chain. The project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund, the public and private sectors.

Meet the Inventya Solutions team

Pedro Rivera Project Manager

With 21 years of experience, Pedro trained as an Economist and holds an MBA from Edinburgh University. From co-ordinating the international business of a multinational financial service, to directing an SME and a voluntary organisation, Pedro has successfully delivered a range of projects in the sustainability & low carbon sector. He has gained comprehensive expertise in European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) through working on policy development, evaluating projects for funding, programme delivery & monitoring, as well as successfully developing, bidding and delivering projects.

Simona Cocuz Finance & Compliance Manager

Simona is a part qualified accountant with extensive experience in the running of publicly funded services. She has helped deliver a wide range of ESIF programmes across LCR, from the bidding stage to delivery and closure of the projects. She is responsible for the financial leadership of the LCRFE project, including audit and compliance. Having previously worked at The Women’s Organisation, Simona is very passionate about women entrepreneurship and enhancing their role in business and community.

Caroline Jones Business Advisor

Caroline has 10 years’ experience as a business advisor supporting both start up and established businesses across LCR. Caroline has been passionate about enterprise all her life, having studied business, finance and management. She has also run two businesses, a café in the Scottish Highlands and more recently a marketing & copywriting service. Caroline has worked on numerous European and UK Government funded projects in the last twenty years, but she is particularly passionate about helping businesses to flourish by making them aware of the opportunities available to them through local economic growth.

Alexandra Johnston Research & Marketing Officer

Alexandra holds a First Class degree in English, Media & Cultural Studies BA (Hons) and a Masters in English Research (MRes). She has experience in public relations, content marketing, event planning & social media strategy. Alex is responsible for marketing the LCRFE project and finding eligible SMEs in the region that would benefit from the support of the programme.

Meet the Liverpool JMU Team

Andrew Ross Professor in Project Management

Prof Andrew Ross is the subject leader for surveying at Liverpool John Moores University; He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying, an MSc in Information technology in property and construction and a PhD in Construction economics. He is a fellow of the higher education academy. Andrew has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and he has presented his research at a wide range of national and international conferences. He also teaches on the MSc Construction Project Management and MSc Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management in the School of the Built Environment.

Christaline Wijekoon Research Assistant

Christaline holds a First Class degree in BSc (Hons) Facilities Management and is in the writing up stage of her PhD in Building Information Modelling. She has worked both in academia as an Assistant Lecturer and in the industry as a contract manager looking after outsourced facilities management contracts. Christaline has published several research papers in national and international conferences and a peer-reviewed journal. She is also an associate fellow in The Higher Education Academy. Her current research interests are BIM, supply chains and renewable energy.

Aldo De Leonibus Renewables Business Growth Director

Aldo is an experienced business innovation consultant, expert in evaluating new business concepts and new product and service development. He holds MEng and Masters of Enterprise (MEnt) degrees. Aldo is fluent in English, Italian, and French.
